A date is more useful with the documents behind it
Knowing when coverage ends is only part of keeping track of a warranty. You may also need the receipt and the warranty document. Holdr keeps these with the purchase, alongside separate purchase and warranty expiration dates.
Set up a purchase you want to track
- Save the purchase. Use a recognizable product name and record the retailer and purchase date.
- Check the actual warranty terms. Find the applicable coverage period and start date in your documents. Do not assume every product has the same coverage.
- Enter the expiration date. Check it carefully and attach the warranty document so you can refer back to it.
- Enable reminders. Turn on warranty reminders in Holdr and allow notifications in your device settings.
See active, expiring, and expired records
The purchase dashboard helps you review the dates you have saved. An expired date in Holdr describes your record; it does not determine all rights you might have or make a decision about a claim.
Does Holdr extend or guarantee a warranty?
No. Holdr organizes documents and tracks dates. Coverage and claim decisions depend on the applicable terms and the retailer or manufacturer. Contact them directly if you need a repair or have a question about eligibility.
Will a reminder always arrive?
Reminders depend on notification permissions and your device settings. Check that notifications are enabled, and do not rely on a reminder as your only way to track an important deadline.
